The eConf multimedia video calling software application can be used either as a stand alone application to convert a personal computer in a video endpoint, or as a platform for building your own custom endpoint by quickly modifying the look and feel and integrating it with other applications to be used on the desktop.

eConf is standards based and supports both SIP and H.323 protocols. It can be combined with other standards based video and audio products such as the Secure Connect firewall / NAT traversal software and transcoding MCU from Global V C S to build customized visual collaboration solutions or to integrate with other unified collaboration solutions.

It provides outstanding audio and video quality, even at low bandwidths. The high quality video codecs are recognized as the best available and latest versions even use less CPU resource while producing outstanding images. When higher bandwidth is available, and with a suitable personal computer, eConf can support High Definition video, the first software endpoint to provide this.
